Superpower or mess?

It depends on you really, the owner.

A small independent boutique hotel can easily change strategy, try out new things, change procedures and adapt to each guest.

BUT, if you are doing this TOO OFTEN, it’s an indicator of NOT having neat working structure in place.

From your point of you this might not look like a mess, but that’s because everything is clear in your head (or did it start to be overwhelming?). This is NOT true for everyone involved in your business. And you are NOT one-man show.

So, there must be structure, neat and optimized.

From there on, adaptability is YOUR SUPERPOWER.

ADAPTABILITY to change easily as soon as you get new piece of information.

For example, you can reword your team for finding out important insights about your guests AND collaborating with each other to make things happen.

IMPORTANT THING IS – you need strategy on how to approach this so it’s effective and aligned with the service you provide.

For example, coaching your team what questions to ask, what to look for when studying a guest, giving them ideas on how to over deliver and surprise guests, etc.

Small teams are also opportunity for closer relations and clearer mission.

It’s EASIER to ensure everyone are clear on what your goal is, what your promise is and how they can all contribute.
