It’s NOT enough to be excellent ONCE or TWICE. You need to show up at the top of your game each and every time, with every single guest.

Being predictable is what you should always be when it comes to BASELINE EXPERIENCE in your hotel.

That means providing accommodation, food and all other services at the same QUALITY every time.

When your guests are coming again, they KNOW what to expect, that is exactly why they have chosen you again.

Even with first time guests there are EXPECTATIONS. The ones you promised and advertised on social media and other platforms. Or the ones they’ve heard from the people who recommended you.

It’s NEVER a good choice not to meet these expectations. If you fail to do this, you will never get to come to overdelivering.

OVERDELIVERING and SURPRISING your guests with additional stuff while failing to deliver promised is never going to be appreciated enough.

Once you get their TRUST with how you always show up, you can proceed to understanding their real needs and CUSTOMIZING the experience.

Without consistency and trust, they won’t be able to appreciate all the extra moments. But once they do, any extra effort will feel multiplied and bigger than it actually is for you.

Sure, things happen but a successful hotel shows up even then. You just need to learn how and put systems in place to support you.
