I love to say “be the host you’d love to stay with”. But CAN YOU really be objective when it comes to your own hotel?

 

We tend to IDEALIZE our own businesses because we know how much effort goes into it, so we seek compassion even when things really should be better.

 

ALWAYS look at the things from a GUEST’S PERSPECTIVE.

 

Or be your own guest. Check in for a weekend and experience your hotel from a guest’s perspective.

 

Bring a friend maybe and see what their comments are.

 

Your hotel will never be perfect for everyone but IT SHOULD BE for your ideal guests.

 

It’s better to have the list of suggestions for improvements than to let your pride blind you and stop you from growth.
