Don’t expect gratitude for something you think is nice but the guest doesn’t need.

Welcome gift of your best champaign and chocolates can be TOTALLY UNAPPRECIATED if your guests don’t drink alcohol and eat sugar.

Instead, all you needed to do is buy some high quality dates and make them a mint lemonade. VOILA!

Costs you much less AND makes your guests super happy.

BUT you would rather offer what everyone else does and go for classic examples of what impresses people – read addressing (in most cases) their weaknesses.

The problem wouldn’t be that big if this didn’t happen to be so seen that all that is left is entering the race of offering bigger and better and more expensive.

Or WORSE, if you are not a luxury hotel, so you buy the same type of things but cheaper.

Why?

Why??

The thing is THIS WILL NOT DIFFERENTIATE YOU!

Also, this is just ONE example.

Think of things that you provide and IT COSTS YOU, but you don’t receive gratification on those or people DON’T USE IT/THROW IT AWAY.

That means your ideas are NOT serving their needs and wants.

Concentrate on those.

Observe.

Ask for feedback.

Change it, so it fits their needs and wants AND your concept.

EVENTUALLY INNOVATE AS AN UPGRADE TO THIS PROCESS.
