Search for people with good hospitality attitudes and you just got yourself great employee.
The only thing left is systematical training that you carefully craft once but use many times in future for each new employee.
It can’t be that some hotels have luck to have all great employees, while some just keep struggling and changing season to season.
This is not coincidence but a result of devoted hiring process, detailed training process, constant improvements, regular meetings, healthy company culture, individual follow ups and more.
Create this process for your employee’s journey. And it’s still not that difficult. It’s more difficult to deny you need it.
So, think what you need to know about them, what they need to know about you and how often it’s necessary to meet, peer to peer and with you personally. Approach it technically, businesswise but also practically and emotionally.
This will help your team outperform without too much effort because such framework gives them a lot of freedom for their own solutions which fit the context they are trained for.
