It’s specific people enjoying specific experiences.

Experience economy is all about the effect a product or service has on people’s lives. We put attention to specific experience.

And niche is all about specific audience. Not a mainstream, not general but rather particular segment of market which has specific opinions, ways of doing stuff, problems, etc.

It started with eco-resorts, wellness retreats, country house hotels, themed hotels, etc.

And it evolved to be more creative, fun and convenient. Or at least this is what you SHOULD be going towards.

More specific value to the real guests.

And it is not only a trend. The result is actually FANTASTIC.

IT IS: serving ideal guests who love your hotel and you knowing how to make them content, plus they recommend you, keep coming back and are happy to pay for the experience you provide.

IN THEORY, there are four realms of experiential value: entertainment, educational, aesthetic, escapist nature of customer experience, where each of those is either passive or active and absorbed or immersed in.

IN PRACTICE, this could be specific photos on the wall, kids toys in the room, interactive wall art, flower workshops, photographer in-house, local buddy, etc.

However, one experience is NOT enough in hospitality business.

Hotels are STREAMS OF EXPERIENCES and that is what we need to design for our guests, in a way which makes up a meaningful story relevant for our people, our ideal guests.
