Interior design is kitsch and naïve imitation. Staff is too polite, insecure and fake.

First of all, every UNIQUE accommodation look ALIKE nowadays. Irony, right?

Second, it’s NOT even aesthetically appealing anymore.

It’s all the same – gold color overused, same combination of colors, monochrome or lavish style which feels like cookie cutter, THERE IS NO SOUL of the space or user so it’s boring and doesn’t feel inviting.

Moreover, cheap materials are being used and there is NO LAYERING meaning it feels like things are just gathered in order to mimic something but they are not well fitted and accompanied to add value.

Third, it’s almost like owners are happy to see the project finished and assure themselves that is well done and it’s going to remain so for years to come. They are NOT being honest with themselves therefore later not positioning correctly in the market and giving FALSE promises.

Side note, all this COSTS YOU MORE – financially, time wise, in effort and stress, amortization and renovation, guests who are difficult to deal with, mediocre reviews, employees who don’t really care for the property, etc.

Same goes for staff.

Less and less owners want to deal with building company culture. Imposing people to be polite, smile and be overly humble with guests is NOT adding value to a service.

It rather feels SUPERFICIAL and ANNOYING. There is no real connection. Because there is no one inside of your company.
