The recipe for delighted guests is easy to say, a bit harder to do.

First deliver, than over deliver. That’s it.

First give them what you promised, than give them everything else you can. That’s it.

First provide what they paid for, than surprise them without asking for anything in return. That’s it.

First meet their expectations, then exceed them. That’s it.

A guest who gets what they expected will not be super happy guest.

After all, it’s an economic relationship you establish first. Whatever they paid for, they are entitled to.

Once this economic aspect is taken out of the picture, you’ve got them as real emotional human beings who all have wants and needs. Doesn’t matter if it’s a mother of two or wealthy businessman.

When you go step beyond what they ask you to, everyone will feel supported and taken care of. Just make sure you are not offering them something they don’t need at all.

Remember, a guest can not be grateful and satisfied about getting something they don’t need. So, know your guests, their wants and needs.
